Art by union rank and file members and by artists who celebrate working men and women: painting, sculptor, clothing design, and other creations, on display and for sale.
Music: area musicians with labor-themed work will be showcased. They will be able to sell CD's at a festival table.
Battles Lost & Won: stories and historical settings of pitched battles fought in the greater New York area.
Walking Tour of NY buildings, led by local craftsmen who built them.
Sisters on the Frontline: A round table discussion of struggles women have fought and won, from the shirtwaist workers of 1909 to the skilled tradeswomen of the 1960's.
Labor's Future: Where will working men and women find meaningful, gainful employment in this century? Can America rebuild its industrial base? Scholars and journalists discuss the American labor's future.
When Labor Meets the Law: Famous cases that worked against, and sometimes for, the struggles of labor to win the right to bargain collectively.
